Ok, so I have a tank, light fixture, hiding spots, moist hide, reptile carpet, calcium dish, calcium supplements, water dish, thermometer and... well, gecko.
Anyways, gecko hasn't been acting as active as she used to when I first got her, such as eating only 2 or 3 (sometimes ONE) mealworm every day or so. It wasn't until today that I finally put some calcium powder in her dish and watched her just go at it. Now, I also have no under tank heater and her thermometer reads 75 degrees, which I KNOW isn't the necessary heat... so, I told Mr. Pet Store Man "Hey! I would like to place an order for an under tank heater." And he says "Okay. It might take a week for it to get in." so I wait... one week goes by, no heater... two, no heater... three, no... four, no... and now it's November! Cold days to come! Agh... I just went to amazon.com and payed the extra $$ to get it shipped, because 4 weeks is ridiculous (and he STILL might not get it in this Friday!) Anyone else think her lethargic behavior is from lack of heat lamp?
