This frog was photographed in the 'frog pond' at the Danum Valley Borneo Rainforest Lodge, in Sabah, Borneo.

Time was approx 6.00pm (local) and this frog was sharing the location with what I believe were several File-eared tree frogs.

SVL was a maximum of 40mm, and the individual was on a leaf approximately 4 inches above the surface of the water. It was not calling.

Many thanks

The frog you found at Danum Valley in Sabah Borneo is a Harlequin flying frog also called Red Flying frog.
We just come back from a trip to Sabah, Borneo and saw those same frog at the frog pond. The "X" on its back is one of the unique features.

Hi Dave,
I forgot to mention the scientific name. It's Rhacophorus pardalis.
