Does anyone know of a herp society in North Louisiana or even just some herpers that would not mind someone tagging along on their trips?

there's the North Louisiana Herpetological Society,
in Shreveport.
i don't really know anything about them, but i googled them and got this info:

could be worth looking into if you aren't too far from S'port.

i live in Ruston, and have had several great field days this fall, though the critters seem to be starting to shut down for the year. can't wait for spring!

i have a few critters, there's a list in my signature.
when i get back from New Orleans next week, we'll have to meet up and go see if we can scare up some snakes!
