Male and Female not breeding?

3-three-7 Nov 02, 2005 02:36 PM

I have a pair for Crested Geckos. What can I do to give their mojo a jump start. They have been housed together, I removed the male, then re-introduced the male. She seems interested, she stares at him and then creeps closer. Is it just a matter of time? Or can I do something? Perhaps play some Barry White.

try increasing the temp. to around 80 degrees ( if you're not already there) and spray a little more than usual and see what happens. both animals obviously need to be well fed and on a well balanced diet, and female needs to be atleast 30-35 grams, and the male probably won't breed until he's close to 25 grams.

I have a trio that I have NEVER seen mate and the eggs the girls lay are fertile. Maybe they are just secretive and having off behind your back.
