thinking about getting a blue tounged skink

hi, im new to the skink forum, i raise beardies, i dont know much about skinks and i was thinking of getting one. can you guys give me some information on them.

Blue-tongues are very good for beginners. They are friendly and easy to take care of. Just make sure you do research to find out what type of care they need first.

Hi! I've had my BTS since July and he is a wonderful pet. I never was a reptile person until I saw a BTS at a local pet store. He's very sweet. The kids can even handle him w/ no problems. He likes to sit on the kids heads! LOL!! Danielle
