As Usual: Quick Question

boceke Nov 02, 2005 10:20 PM

Hey all, another quick feeding question from a newb,
I fed my ball 4 days ago, and the mouse was pretty darned big compared to him, so much so i feared he wouldn't be able to wolf the thing down. But he did and seems quite happy now, it was indeed impressive to watch. Now, it's 4 days later and he's fine, i've handled him and so has others (he even peed on a friend of mine, which was most amusing to myself and others) but seeing as it was a big meal and he's still rather "fat" as it were, should i wait an extra few days past the usual 7 before offerin food again? Should i wait for him to defecate, or perhaps wait a specific number of days? He'll only eat live so I'd rather not offer food and then have to take it out when he doesn't want to eat. I only ask cause he is still quite young and wanna keep him well fed while growin' up so he gets big and strong and one day can consume one of my asian roomates whole. I know I know, i'm one of those crazy paranoid people w/ lotsa questions, but I just wanna keep him well.
Thanks much all,
-Eli

You should be fine to feed him/her again on your 7 day schedule, you just might get the mouse a little smaller this time. (Not alot smaller though).
