Mastigodryas has been repeadedly used to describe snakes of the genus Dryadophis. Both genera are considered valid. The big question is....What species do you have? (my ref says there are 11).

Needs a large dry terrarium with areas to bask, climb and bathe. Eats a variety of small vertebrates including birds(mine liked anoles). Size on average is around four feet.

Harmless.
