Newspapper

Bighaze Nov 04, 2005 11:28 AM

I've kept my snakes on newspapper for sometime now, I like it.

Today when I was feeding the snakes, I saw that one of the balls had wraped up some of the newspapper with the rat. Once she was done eating I checked it out and it looks like she has eaten some of the newspapper with the rat. Not a lot, just a small piece. This is not the first time a snake has wraped up the papper, but it is the first time I have seen one eat some of it.

She should be OK right? the papper is from a "but roll", so there is no print or ink on it.

Has anyone seen it happen before?

She should be fine. They eat far worse sometimes. Just monitor her for a week or so.

Thanks, I thought she would be OK, but I feel better hearing it from someone else.

...who chuckled slightly at "newspapper".

Sorry. I could not help myself.
