Considering purchasing dwarf caiman (Cuviers)

I am considering purchasing a Cuviers dwarf caiman. I have never owned a crocodilian before, but have kept large lizards such as iguanas and monitor lizards. I am wondering how the ownership of a dwarf caiman compares to ownership of a Nile monitor (one of my favorite species to keep). Thank you for your help.
