I just read a post bellow about a Ball accidentilly ingesting some news paper. Personally, I do not use news paper because there is no telling where it has been and I am a bit of a hypercondriack (spch) when it comes to my snakes. However, seems that a lot of people use it without any problems and when I was a kid I used it all the time my self, also with no problems. So, what I am wondering is if anyone has ever had any problem at all using news paper.

with a Ball Python that got ahold of the political section and suddenly decided he wanted to be a Demicrat. Got rid of that one quick!

Seriously, that's all I use and have used for years without incident. But, you run a certain level of risk with just about everything.

I guess I'll have to make sure I only use Anarchist and Progressive (not synonimous with Liberal) literature for bedding if I ever switch.

It cost allot more, but a strong market is worth it!

Now if I could only find that sardonic font.......

Ige t rid of all of the Republican snakes and only keep the Democratic ones, too mamy deformed animals from the breeding of consevative ones.

Before we (and this is just as much my fault as anyone elses) turn this post into another heated debate about something other than ball pythons (also something I am guilty of) has anyone had any problems with news paper?

I use the "butt rolls"

I get them from the press, most the time for free, but if it has like 100 ' on it they charge a little, but that much goes a long way.

I've used newspapper(j/k) for over 10 years and the only problem I've ever had was the critter always poops underneath it. Making clean-up just that much more fun. lol

Thank you for all the replys. I must say though that I am surprised that not a single person has had any issues. I just can't imagine that news paper is all that sanitary.
