This is typical for hogs this time of year. A week of eating is NOTHING to be worried about. Check back in March if it still has not eaten.

What are your temps?
Size tank?
Has the snake been checked for parasites in the last year?

PS- hogs don't get "mean", they just get defensive.

I have a bullsnake right next to her. I just noticed a couple of mites on him and I have been cleaning his cage for about 3 weeks now. I cleaned the hogs cage just to be sure. She never had any parasites. Her tank is a 55 gallon and she is right at a year old.

I am not a snake whisperer, but I haven't even had a hoggie bite me in defense anyway(it seems). When I have been bitten, it has been from a snake resting comfortably in my hands without agitation. I think it is more of a feeding response. When my hog gets ticked off, she throws herself around, hisses, puffs up, and strikes with her mouth closed. I have not met every hognose however and my experience is with nassicus.
Good luck with the feeding by the way!
