I posted a pic of this guy a while ago, but only got a few responses. I was hoping to get some more opinions on him and see if anyone else has anything like this.
Thanks for your time,

Most intelligent people on this forum ignore my posts. That is a beautiful and unique belly on that boa!
np..
As of right now, I also believe it is a normal. However, I do find it odd that the black speckles that should be on the belly are all pushed off to the side - almost forming stripes. I have never seen another belly like that, and was just wondering if anyone else had. I have seen some boas with fairly clean bellies, but that was usually on pastel boas. This guy has quite a bit of black speckling, so I just find it odd.
Thanks for your thoughts though.
Matt
The speckling reminds me of a yellowbelly ball python. Regardless if it ends up being anything passable he is a sweet looking animal.

There are many traits that pop up in BCI breedings, they are present to some extent or another in the populations.. inbreeding, or just probability bring them up. The pink colouration is not uncommon and the way the ventral speckling is moved out to the sides is seen in many populations.. more in some than others. Here's a photo showing the ventral looks of some BCI localities..

.
Because of all the mixed-locality breedings going on a lot of new looks pop up in lines where they are normally not seen.. but again it is likely these trtaits exist somewhere in the general population anyway.. Whether or not you have something unique and inheritable will only be known after you breed your snake and then breed the offspring of that to prove out the trait.. The only way to know if it is desireable to others is to sell a bunch of them..

I don't know if you have started one yet or not,but If not, I want to be first on your waiting list for when you have babies from that one. If you have, add me in there somewhere.

Thanks fot the comments Davey. This guy is an '05 that I got about a month ago. I thought he was cool, so I picked him up as sort of a dinking project. I highly doubt it's anything special, but you never know until you breed them. Who would have thought yellow belly ball pythons were anything special?
I have just never seen a clean belly like this on a highly speckled animal, only on pastels.
Take care,
Matt
Sorry ladies, not pics of my belly, just some boa belly pics.
