south american sp?

anyone know anything on mastigodryas sp?
are they rear fanged or just big racer types of snakes?

Basically they are a racer. Harmless. Nice snakes-eat lizards. I have had some.

I caught quite a few in Costa Rica. The juvies look similar to Bothrops Asper at first glance whae the are in the leaf litter. Very cool snake! The adults that I caught did not even try to bite.
