Well I think my corn is fairly smart, last week or 2 my corn tried to escape through a hole in the top of his screen top. Thats when I posted pic's of the duct tape that he got stuck to. I thought to myself, "he wont find it again", so I patched up the hole again with scotch tape this time. Well a few minutes ago he got stuck on the tape AGAIN for the second time. And its roughly the same place where I had to take the tape off last time. His scales on his belly (upper body) are really weird and some are torn off. Will his shed clean everything up? Should I try and make him shed? And what should I actually do this time to FIX the wires.

Jayson why didnt you just buy a new lid the first time that happened? I hope your snakes alright. Just buy a new lid, i think it would be your best bet.Im also very surprized you didnt just tape it from the under of the lid so he couldnt get stuck after your first accident. Good luck

Heh I'm a hard headed type of guy, I would have bought a new lid but had a million things and other setup-ups for potential new snakes. Hopefully he will be ok.

When you originallhy posted that your corn had gotten stuck to the duc tape, I think it was draybar that said to sew a piece of screen over the hole.
If there is no missing screen, just torn, you might even be able to just just sew the hole together. I never thought you would tape it again.

Yeah I'm just gonna buy a new screen top tomorrow to fix the whole problem. I'm sorry for not having the time to sew it back together but I recently just got a queretaro king and was setting his stuff up so I'd figure I'd ductape it untill the next day or so then buy a new screen top. Thanks for the replies.
