As I mentioned in a previous post, Alligators have been featured on several commercial pinball machines over the years. (A couple of which I own).
If you aren't a "pinhead" (it is an affectionate term--really!) you might not be aware that the pinball industry nearly died in the late 1990s when Williams/Bally got out of the business to concentrate exclusively on gambling machines. There is currently only one pinball manufacturer in the world (Stern Pinball in Chicago) and few arcades are left.
Back in April, an Australian pinball dealer bought the rights to make machines under the Bally name and has just made the official announcement of his first offering.
I know the fellow on the machine is not universally respected among Croc folks, but it is still pretty cool from my perspective. I don't plan to buy one new in the box ($4000+), but it will certainly be on my want list when cheaper used ones start becoming available.
Note that one of the eyes is normal, the other is a silver pinball.
