SHOULD I BREED HER WITH A SPIDER ?!?!

reptilesexotics1 Nov 04, 2005 10:17 PM

Ive been doing some cleaning up ... Deciding what I wanted to breed this year ... And what I was going to move out ... When I got to this girl all I could think of was "breed her with a spider". Anyone else agree? She has the weight and ready to go now. She is puching 3500 grams so she should put off a very nice clutch !

My thoughts on this is the pattern is already reduced on her!? I would think put some color in with it, instead of breeding her to another pattern morph! Just my $.02

i think the pastel idea would be best. reduced pattern pastel would be pretty sweet.

... I have a female nearly identical to that one. This past season she was bred to one of our nicest Spider males and produced, by far, the best Spiders I have ever hatched! We had quite a few Spiders this season but none compare to that clutch!

Good luck and let us know what happens...

Have pics of the mom and the babies? Just curious to see how they came out.

Thanks,
Eric

... have pics of everything (i.e. Mom, Dad & little ones) However I am in the middle of a computer upgrade here... we just upgraded our laptops and desktops all at once so everything is just a wreck. I hope to be back in good shape sometime later this week. I will try to e-mail you or start a new thread on here.

Take care... good luck!

Larry,

Your female Spider was definitely one of the nicest Spiders I hatched this year. It may be the NICEST but its clutchmates were nice to average. My amazment from this clutch we are discussing on this thread comes from the fact that every single one of them was a lot like your female. That really light color... almost GREEN with just TONS of white up the sides. I really wanted to keep a Spider from that clutch so I will probably keep a couple of the females as I really don't need another male.

Eric,

I am searching for pics on one of these computers but it may take a while. It seems that our lovely photographer, Celia Chien, has taken over 15,000 photos that I have to move and organize! HAHA What a job!

I will be breeding the adult female to a really nice Bumblebee male this season... hope it works out the smae way!

Good Luck!
