Corn fasting?

maizeysdad Nov 05, 2005 10:01 AM

My 03 corn, which I think is a male, has skipped 2 weeks of feeding now. I know 2 weeks ins't alot, but this snake has eaten like clockwork it's whole life. It shows no interest at all. All temps etc, are unchanged.

My question is, do mature male corns fast in the fall like BP's sometimes do?

Help me out, o possessers of great knowledge.

i have an '03 male also and he will go on a fast for weeks at a time. i'm most sure its becasue he wants a mate and will not eat. he will constantly cruse his tank wanting out. right now he just shed and is eating. i woulnd't worry about yours just yet. another thought is sometimes they won't eat at shedding times.

i also have a 7 foot jungle python that has refused food since sept 9th.

this is just my exp. i'm not a breeder but have had snakes for 4 years now.
