Jill passed on

Sad to say, but after three years, I lost my first snake today. She was a hatchling ghost who just wouldn't eat, and I believe she subsequently died from dehydration. I tried everything on this girl, live, frozen, PK, brained, anoles, crickets, force feeding... she just wouldn't take. Just wondering how many others have ever had this happen? I've raised three other corns from hatchling size and have them all today, as well as a ball and burm. Is this just something that happens from time to time? Obviouisly I'm not too broken up as she'd been trouble from the start, just a little disappointed I couldn't bring her up to speed.

and maybe they are meant to be feeders for birds or other animals. No matter what you do, they aren't programmed to be survivors. But it still hurts to lose them. I know, I have been there.

You can't save them all. I learned this recently too as Butters passed away after 2 weeks of trouble. Sorry to hear about your loss.
