Results of my NC. Sandhills trip today: (sorry no kings. . .BUT)

I know these are not Kingsnakes but I already know some of you guys have some of these: Went herping today to see if I could find some Kingsnakes, BUT: found these three Eastern Hognoses today in the Sandhills of North Carolina. The two larger, prettier ones (a 27" male & a female), where found coiled together under the same board! Its November - not April I thought!
The "uglier", smaller one was found at a different site under a tin sheet and is totally in the pre-shed "blue"! (The male is the large black & orange one) The pic is kinda' bad and does NOT show the orange colors very well, because that male is orange & black all the way down!
Also found a small coachwhip & a lot of ground skinks and that was about it. . . Thanks,

Zee

Thanks Todd! Yeah, I think that big orange & black male is awesome! How's it going over there? I bet the snakes are still crawling over there with all that warm weather . . .?

2 dor neonate diamondback rattlers
2 ground skinks

funny, no rat snakes either and they are most common this time of year. Temps held well into the 70's at night. Very cool hoggies, send me a baby screamer!
