Update on my hatching eggs =)

Turtlegirl Jul 22, 2003 09:04 AM

Well so far 16 beautiful little Beardies have hatched, and the last one is on the way!!
I watched them hatch all day yesterday... it was amazing!

Most of the babies and just over 3 & 1/2 inches long. -There are a few larger ones that are over 4 & 1/2 inches long, and there are 2 that are smaller than all the rest. (-- the smallest being barley 2 & 1/2 inches and it's my favorite. )
So for the most part, they're all the same size, but why is this tiny one almost half the size of the others?

Thanks!

There's usually a runt in the bunch, just like puppies.
My runt has grown into a piglet..lol

I will definately separate baby beardy #10 (the super tiny one,) and baby #6 (-it's the second smallest) from the others...

lol, tiny baby #10 is my favorite, and I think maybe I'll be keeping it for myself.

Also, I would like to 'mark' a few babies so I can tell the appart from the others... can I mark the tips of their tails with white-out or something?

Thanks!

I marked mine with non-toxic craft paint. works great until they start shedding..
