Retro Thayeri

BobHansen Nov 06, 2005 01:04 PM

Some of us have a growing appreciation for the "wild-type" look in thayeri. Although the various line-bred morphs are spectacular, these wild-types have a subtle beauty all their own (at least IMHO). Here's a 2004 female produced by Ric Blair. Enjoy!

Hi Russ:

Actually...Brad got those from Bob Johnson (your neck of the woods)--a nice group they were. I got one (an 04 female) from that bunch as well.

cheers,

bob

I don't know Bob Johnson but it looks like I need to get to know him if he is my neck of the woods. Actually there are a lot of "necks" in my neck of the woods

Where in Florida is he located?

That would be the Orlando neck. Contact info sent to you as private email.

Wow. I couldn't get that picture to load for the longest time but it was sure worth it. Does that female have a slight fat deposit near her vent Bob? I'm only asking because I have a female that I have to keep in check because she tends to get that little bit of fat deposit near her tail and its had me a little concerned. Any one else have any "fat bottom girls"?

I don't believe she's got a fat deposit...I think that "enlargement" was due to the underlying rock surface...or, she was packing a load!
