Gutload...

Misskiwi67 Nov 06, 2005 02:43 PM

Hey all, I'm starting to run out of gutload, and was curious if anyone here has a favorite brand? I've been using Wild Eye Reptile Gutload, and my roaches are growing well one it, but I have nothing to compare it to. I just thought I'd get some opinions before I ordered more.

whenever i'm inbetween stuff i just throw in some wheat bread, or some crested gecko diet ( because i keep a lot of that around)
how are you liking leah's gutload?

The roaches like it, and they're growing and reproducing, so I guess I like it too... LOL I've never used anything else, so I don't really know a good gutload vs. a bad one. It came highly recommended from some roach people, so thats why I got it. I've been using it for the crickets too, and thought I'd see if anyone else had a favorite. If nobody has any recommendations, I'll be buying from them again. Service was great

the roaches will eat anything, but some roaches need more protein(orange heads) because they will eat each others wings. dried cat food has a lot of protein and so does fish food. i use fruit babyfood too when im feeding my day geckos.

my orange heads get 2 supplemental pinky mice each week, which is what the guy I bought them from recommended. Its amazing because they can eat the entire thing in about 20 minutes. I might try tossing in some catfood too...
