Now this is a new one.....

Hey everybody,

I have a problem I have never had before, and never thought I would. For the past few weeks, when i clean the cham cages, I noticed a lot of cricket eggs scattered on the ground. I never expected them to hatch!!! But they did, in one of my male cages!!! I noticed a few hundred (or thousand. LOL, who knows) very tiny crickets in the cage. They can even get out of the screening they are so tiny. Now, most of them are dead from what I know. The irrigation system sort of served as a mote in which a lot of them drowned. But, how can I prevent this from happening again. The enviorment I created in the cages are obviously very favorable to the crickets, but also the chams, which is why I don't want to adjust the misting system and the temps. What should I do?!?!

Adam.

Throw some cricket feed down there and let 'em grow. they'll get eaten soon, just make sure your moat is sufficient at keeping the crickets from escaping.
