SO EXCITED!!!!

I'm FINALLY getting a leucy texas ratsnake. He arrives on Tuesday! He's about 2 months old, no bug eyes, and is said to be extremely calm for a texas rat. He's sooooo beautiful! I can't wait!!! The idea of shipping has me horrified though. He's from Florida and I live in California. Tell me animals are shipped all the time and that he'll be just fine.

I know this pic is just awful...I promise beautiful, crisp photos when he's home, safe and sound, and has been given a few days to adjust.

I posted the pic as a link instead of an image.

and yes the odds are that if the shipper follows all the common sense rules and packs it well the snakes will get to you just fine. But every shipment is a mini-adventure. Good luck and enjoy your new snakes.

They're fun, low maintenance and never refuse a meal.

Shipping snakes is always an adventure. Advice: don't volunteer what's in the box to the person at the counter when you pick your baby up--things might get more interesting than you'd like!(LOL)

Best of luck with your new little one--I'll be looking for new pics. Know that I am sending positive energy and blessings to protect your little one on it's journey!

althea
