ETB breeding size?

cbreps Nov 07, 2005 06:15 AM

finally after over 20 years of wanting an ETB i have purchased my first pair. i got the sub adult female (about 3 foot)last summer from chicago reptile house (supposedly a cb 3 yr old, that was owned by one of their workers) as well as a cbb baby from New York Reptilia, that has turned out to be a male. what is the accepted age, weight or length for breeder males? and for females?

Males generally mature between 4-4.5 years. Personally, I wouldn't try a female until atleast 5 years. Of coarse this is relative to having good size and body weight at that age, especially the females as they may go off feed after successful ovulation.
