I think she's small but...

zookeepnhippie Nov 07, 2005 09:21 AM

I got this female about a year and a half or two years ago and she was a slow eater. At the beginning of the summer this year she started eating really well and gained a lot of weight. I dont think she is at 1500 grams yet, but she has been twisted up with my male about every other morning. I am not trying to make her breed this year, the two of them are just in the same enclosure. Should I just go with the flow, or is it going to cause her harm if she is too small? Definitley woiuldnt mind if they are breeding Id love to hatch my own. Let me know what you think. I also posted this in the general bp forum but got no replies.

If you do not want them to breed(and you don't if she isn't old enough or large enough),then you NEED to separate them.
