I havent been at this very long, but here is what I use, and it seems to work pretty well:

oats (not the instant type)
whole wheat flour
corn meal
dry milk powder
rice baby cereal
brewers yeast (this stuff is kind of expensive, so I go easy)
fish food flakes (also expensive, but has a lot of good vitamins)

I am still experimenting with the ratios, but oats make up the biggest percentage, and the yeast and fish food the least. The mealworms seem to really like it. Good luck.

well, i use a mix that with ingredients you can find at your grocery store so it is easy to make:
dry oatmeal
dry baby rice cereal
dry baby barley cereal
powdered milk
wheat germ
miner-all vitamin mineral/supplement for carnivorous reptiles

a mix will be alot healthier than just one type of food. i have used this mix and it has been great.
