Bullfrog-friendly land area??

gazgirl Nov 07, 2005 07:19 PM

Hello!
I was wondering if anyone can help me figure out the best type of land area/substrate for american bullfrogs? My bullfrogs never leave the water even though I have large land areas in my tank... I never even see them because they are always hiding behind plants in the water.

as long as there is cover over the land area so they are comfortable, if they dont come out that is their option. a gentle slope up to the land area is also a good idea. other than that they should be fine.
