R. chahoua info please

NickMorin Jul 22, 2003 11:05 AM

I am getting some R. chahoua within the next couple of weeks and I was wondering if anyone else out there keeps/breeds these guys. I would particularly like to know any major differences between chahoua and ciliatus and auriculatus, both of which I keep, or any tips that would help them thrive. I have heard that females guard their eggs. Does this mean they just stay near them or do they actually defend them? Any info would be much appreciated.

I keep and breed chahoua atm. Keep them the same as cresteds and aurics just a bigger cage. My female hangs out around the eggs after she lays them but has never attacked as i removed eggs before. She preffers to lay them under a piece of corkbark i have in the cage rather than in the egg laying container i have for them.
