wierd question

goregrind Nov 08, 2005 04:39 PM

i was watching a tv show and it showed a town in australia with litterally millions of mice, like hundres everywhere you look!

i was thinking about it and since burmese eat 2 rabbits a week, would a burmese eat a few dozen mice a day? would a fullgrown burmese eat a mouse? would they keep eating all the time or stop to digest? would they be overwhelmed or thrive?

I don't think you could get an adult Burm to eat mice. I've got a seven footer that won't take anything smaller than a large rat. Besides in the situation you describe the mice would probably overwhelm the snake and kill it if it couldn't escape the building. Just my thoughts.

It's unbelievable how many people think Moses eats Mice! He's 12 feet, around 55 pounds. They think he maybe eats 1 or 2 mice a week. I tell them it would probably take 75-100 mice to feed him but he probably wouldn't even touch em! One of my kids teachers asked if she could feed him a Slim Jim! Glad she was the art teacher and not science.
