I bought this girl at roughly 3' 8" over a year ago and she's now 4' 6" lol.. She's not much of a grower in length, but she's a girthy little girl.. Oh well, I'll wait til next year when she's 5' and 4yrs old..

Joe there is something I find a little interesting, that also may not be related, but still.
Anyway, someone else posted pictures of farmed abberants that were 4-5 years old and still small. Visual mutations of Color and Pattern often affect animals in other ways, although I do not know of any proof in boas yet. It may be that the genes that cause the abberancies also stunt the boa. Keep in mind mutations are caused by one of two things, environment or genetics.
I would love to hear what others think.
Also, we need to get this forum active again, the BP guys have two highly active forums, and we all know we're better, lol.
Very beautiful snake. But as you said it looks very girthy. I personally prefer the leaner looking boas.
..
.....that is very strange about the lack of growth. She should have been hitting her stride the last year. Does she consistently feed?

Yeah, she eats like a monster and has never refused a meal.. She just won't grow in length much, she's as thick as a pop can though.. I guess she's just gonna be a small boa.
