Possible White's Tree Frog Sickness, pleaes help ;_;

Swindles Nov 08, 2005 06:41 PM

Hey, I posted this in the general Frog forum, but I was thinking maybe being more specific in this forum might help:

I have bought my tree frog around a month or so ago, and he has been acting normal, until I recently discovered that he has skin comming off of him. I have seem in other forums that shedding can be normal for tree frogs but their was another thing about my frog thats getting me worried.

When I pick him up, He has little to no suction at all. When I try to put him on the glass in the environment hes in (37 gallon, good hiding spots) He seems to have trouble trying to stick on there. Sometimes he falls back, and if I hold him long enough, he can stay in that one possition I left em there.

He was a small sized frog when I first got em, so Im worried that if he doesnt eat, somethings going to happen to him. Working at a petstore myself, I would like to get an Idea on whats wrong.

Thanks,
Rich

To Anyones concern, he has now bloated up a lot, and show nearly any movement at all, I seen his mouth open twice. He looks like he wont make it over night -_-

I wish someone were to have responded a little sooner, oh well. more news later...
