Southern Coachwhips

GoldenGecko Jul 22, 2003 11:24 AM

Don't be fooled my friends. Those are not coachwhips. First off, there is no such thing as a southern coachwhip. There is eastern, western, red, baja, lined, sonoron, san joaquin. Those snakes they are offering for sale are baby black racers. They may have said they were southern coachwhips to get a better price for them. If i had the extra money i would buy some. Thats a good price for cb racers. THANKS, WILLIAM H. AND THE GREEN PINE MUSEUM.

Perhaps the dealer was told they were southern racers by his source and got it confused. There are a lot of dealers out there who are unfamiliar with the snakes in their own back yard. it's scary how many out there that you think are experts that can't do simple ID's....Frank
