Trinket snake females can range from 45-50inches and males can range from 35-40inches, most have temperments like corn snakes, but as newborns like most snakes they can be a nippy and skiddish. There feeding is the same as corns as well(rodent eaters), as well as the temperatures,75-85 day, nightime lower. A 20 gallon tank is a appropriate size for a adult trinket snake. So overall they have a gentle disposition, and are easy to care for.

Hope that helped

I haven't kept Trinkets, but I know that Taiwans are much larger (I have a male Taiwan who is nearly 8 foot). From what I've read, Trinkets are a good starter snake for folks interested in Asian rat snakes that don't grow large like the beauty snakes.

here's a link to a care sheet for you.

trinket snake = Coelognathus helena
Taiwan beauty snake = Orthriophis taeniura freisi

They come from much different locations, but are similar in that they are both racer-like. They are not only different from corn snakes, but also each other in several ways, and some were mentioned.
