I've a variety of reptiles and have been thinking about a uromastyx. I've read lots of caresheets to get a good idea of their husbandry but am still unsure if thats what I want to go with next. Would a Mali be the best starter? Does anyone have a bitey(as in "ouch, this one is bitey) uromastyx? Would these be harder than a chameleon to maintain?

i definitely think uros are much easier than a cham, but that might be just me.
none of my guys try to bite me, the only time any of them have been truly scary was helga but i woke her up and she was NOT happy about it, to say the least.
i really like my malis. helga is a little sassy but hugo is a big sweetheart, probably the nicest of all my lizards

Vonnie, they are adorable little guys. What kind of uros are they? LOL They are really nice looking collards. How old are they now?

thanks! they will be five months on the 13th and 14th, however soon, two of them go to my sister i will miss seeing the three of them always together. i guess i will just always have to take lucia with me when i go to visit her! however, there are three potential siblings due to hatch any day now, well probably more like another week

The girls look real cute here, you did a great job with them, ehehhehee. See a year ago you were SAD, wondering IF you would ever get some eggs to hatch. WE all told ya be patient,

They sure are cuties, I would miss them also. I feel sad when lil ones leave for new homes, but think it is much harder as they get older and I have gotten to know them, so thats why the biggies are all PETS and stay,

It's great your sister is taking them though, you can always check up.

Cute pic
