Top Three Forum Quotes

CJBianco Nov 09, 2005 07:32 PM

The post below inspired this thread. I've been collecting forum quotes for some time now. And I would like to share my top three favorite forum quotes. Pay attention. Write them down. There is wisdom in the words.

(NOTE: In order to allow a variety of members to showcase their words, I am excluding my own words from the top three list. This is only fair. After all, everything I say is a quoteable pearl of wisdom.)

#3. “When life hands you lemons, make super lemons, bumblebees, etc...” – rwoodyer

#2. "Wild balls suck...period...buy American." – jyohe

And my NUMBER ONE favorite forum quote...

#1. “…next time don't buy $10K worth of snakes out of the back of a van!” – Toshamc

LOL That one sounded ridiculously cruel. (I wish that I hadn't have lost that one.)

remember this one:

Buy what you like - breed what you you enjoy - this is not a get rich quick business - don't expect to make money - be happy if you break even - be ecstatic when you've paid off the loan and have made enough to buy something else you like. Be prepared that your animals may not breed - pray to the gods for good odds if they do and be humbled by your failures and successes.

my favorite :

"Of course, that's only my opinion...and I believe I am God." =) Chris Bianco

"In the beginning Bob created the Ball Python market. And the market was without morph, and wild traits were upon the industry. And Bob said, Let there be morph, and there was morph. And Bob saw the morph, that it was good; and Bob divided the morph from the wild trait. And Bob called the morph Albino, and the wild trait Normal. And the Albino and the Heterozygous Albino were the first investment.

(Sorry, guys. I was typing that one from memory. I should've read it again first. Or framed it on the wall. LOL The quote is from Tracy Barker. And here is the original line.)

"The easiest way to make a million dollars in the snake business [is] to spend three million."

Thanks! I wished I could follow that advice all the time. Sometimes, you just want to scream "Calgon, take me away!".
