My New Leucy!!!!

Everyone...

Meet Worm:

He's been just wonderufl. Only been home for 7 hours...he's allready shed perfectly and is exploring his new home. He was extremely calm when I put him in his tank...no striking or biting. And he doesn't shy away when you catch him in the act of exploring...if anything, he seems almost curious when he sees movement. So different from my Corn, who's increadibly shy. I'm completely in love with this little fella.

That is a nice looking rat. It is nice to not see the bug eyes that got popular for a while. I am glad you are happy but know you need to get a king too.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Hey there!

Yeah, I was undecided between the two, but have been in love with leucys for ages, and when I found this guy, with his amazing temperment, I just couldn't resist. And yeah...bug eyes have their charm (I'm all for "special" animals...heck, my cat has so many extra toes, he practically has thumbs!) but the normal eyed ones are just more elegant in my opinion.

As for a king?...I think if I so much as bring up anouther snake right now, my boyfriend will walk...HAHAHAHAHAHA. But, someday down the line, if and when I get anouther, it will most likely be a mexican black king. I just love these solid colored snakes! But right now, I'm extremely happy with this little guy. And don't worry...I'm actually following your advice. I've given him an extremely secure home, full of hides, leaves and branches, and am not trying to force him to be tame by constant, stressful handling. I will handle him when he is out and about and awake for a bit, but otherwise, am just letting him be. I won't be digging him out of the aspen or any hides unless absolutly necessary. I want him to feel as calm and safe as possible. I want him to know that his hides are a safe-haven of sorts. Of course, this little guy seems so mellow, I'm not really worried about the end results.

Hey sounds like you are spoiling that snake. Good for you. Glad someone listens. Checked out your site and you make some scary sexy monsters. Way to cool. Thought one of the girls was you from your pic from above with Bubba but then I saw the models name. You ever do that to yourself??

Not so much. I think I'm wearing the latex masks I have on there...but those just pull on. For the extensive stuff, it's much easier to apply it to someone else. And then I get paid to touch pretty girls! LOL

And yes, my snakes are spoiled. Heh. Anouther reason I don't want too many...it'd break my bank book!!!
