About to get a M and a F kenyan tree boa

Lacie143 Nov 09, 2005 08:42 PM

I'm about to get a male and a female kenyan tree boa. i have a 55g tank thats been sitting dry and after seeing a couple at fluker farms i decided to fill the tank. I plan on using aspen beding and a heat rock with an acrylic sheet over a section of the bedding to see them burrow under. I heard the carefresh bedding holds their burrors, I was wondering what is best in your opinions. What else do i need for their habitat? Don't worry, i'm going to do more research, but i want some hobbyist opinions first.
Thanks, Lacie

3-4 inches clean play sand a undertank heat pad (never use hot rocks for any thing), and a water bowl. never had a problem with this kind of set up in the last 12 years.
