Another heat question! (sorry, heh)

kilhd Nov 10, 2005 01:37 AM

Ok.. After reading countless posts about how many people love these pro-products RHP.. I am getting more interested in getting one. I have a few questions though. Let's say I was going to buy a 12x12 panel, roughly how much would that run? I don't see any prices except "prices start @ $64" and such in ads. Also would thse be suitable for glass(aquarium) enclosures? Currently I use ceramic heat emitters (ZooMed, and Exo-Terra) What are your thoughts on heat emitters? are they bad? I do notice they tend to dry the humidity up. Thanks for reading. : )

It would depend greatly on the size of the enclosure for the snake and the size of the snake itself. You want to make sure it is getting the correct amount of heat emitted from the panel. If the panel is too small for the size of the cage it will not give off enough heat. What are the dimensions of your cage and the size of your burm?

if you email them at pro-products and tell them the size of your cages amount of air flow, and everything else you think they might need to know...(what it is made of, type of lid if it is a glass aquarium) they will tell you exactly what size of panel you need and how much it will cost. Todd
