Hi all,
My frog is an albino African clawed-frog. Of late, I have noticed that the frog twitches slightly(possibly involuntarily) a few hours after meal and this twitching will last for some time (a few hours). This does not affect its motion though, as the frog can still jump and swim pretty fast when I try to interact with it.
However, since about a week ago, my frog's appetite has been dwindling. In the past, it would eat anything, but since a few weeks back it only ate moving worms. Since three days ago it stopped eating completely. It just brushed the food away. It also appeared lethargic, and would not attempt to jump away when I carried it in my hand.
The symptoms seem to match Red leg Syndrome. I have tried pouring potassium permanganate to the tank daily for treatment since a few days back, but it doesn't seem to help at all.
Are there any other solutions available to treat the frog?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
