we lucked into picking up four hatchling Green Trees recently (not u.s. captive bred), i thought i would put up a quick pic.

these will be incorporated into our current group, with the goal of developing a successful and productive breeding group. these are definitely not for sale : )

Absolutely Amazing animal Robyn!

How long would you estimate it could be before you can be breeding and selling this species if all goes well?

considering we have been working with some very nice adults for many years now, with the BEST result of dead-in-the-egg-full-term-babies, i am not holding by breath or making predictions on these : )

Well good luck to you then.
Hopefully thingswill turn around and you can start having 100% success with them.

I wait for the day!

It seems that has been the problem with people breeding tree monitors. Hopefully some day someone will solve this problem. I wish you the best of luck. And beautiful babies ya got there.

I wish you all the luck and skill in the world. FR

thanks Frank : )

these are a terrific monitor, but the reality is that they are a "back room" project, and don't get the attention they really need, which i think is our biggest hindrance in breeding them succesfully. i couldn't pass up four hatchlings though, so we will see what the next couple of years hold.

Chad will be done with football soon, perhaps he can tackle them. and the Boelen's : )

oh, no pun intended.

Very nice Robyn, I just got a c.b. female that looks like it could be a sib to those. Now I gotta catch up on things so I can get a male. Our zoo has been producing quite a few and Bronx just hatched a bunch too. Good luck with it,
JL
