Naming my Milk Snake...

wpglaeser Nov 10, 2005 06:57 PM

I've had this snake for 3-4 weeks now without a name. I finally decided on "Tweek" from South Park.

Tweek is jittery (like my snake who craps all over me and musks me constantly) because his parents run a coffee shop and feed him coffee. He's hopped up on caffeine.

Tweek was also a victim of the underpants gnomes (bonus).

Whaddya think?

Here's "Tweek"... and Tweek.

Not to rain on your parade, but will the name fit when your snake ages and assumes a very calm and tollerable deposition? Beautiful snake too!

Assuming he will calm down!

I'll see how I like it. I can always change it. It's not like he'll come when called...

I'm just teasing, its a great name. I did the same thing in naming an amazon based on his color, which changed alot in two years...confused alot of people...it was pretty funny.

When I handled him this morning, Tweek crapped/musked all over me again. Eventually he settles down more and doesn't do it. He likes to warm up in my hands, I think.

I just need to get used to saying the name and getting used to it...

lol Tweek is good . I missed last episode looked good . I love that show very underrated esp when they mock both political parties.

LOL tweek is the best man, But did you see the ep called "cripple fight"? When jimmy (the kid that has terrets and cant walk without using braces for his arms), and Timmy (an incoherent mild mannered kid in a wheel chair that can only say timmy), and cartman goes to the super market and says,"hello everyone I would just like to inform you that there is a cripple fight outside, yes a cripple fight". And when everythings over and jimmy and timmy beat the snap out of each other, a guy has the nerve to say, "ok guys break it up". LOL Sorry I'm a kid.... Anyway do milksnakes like yours ever grow? I ask this because the only milks I see are that size. Thanks

Lol yes I loved that one . Its a brilliantly written comedy as they are truly politically incorrect and mock everyone.
They are upto date to on current events . My favorire character is Eric I hope I have a son like him one day lol.

I think Jimmy actually has cerebral palsy, where you're brain works fine but your body is failing you... hence his comedy act and obvious high intelligence. I think people have a kind of love/hate relationship with themselves for laughing at stuff like that, but in one sense it's irony, parody, etc. On the other hand, if you have that affliction or your loved one (child, sibling, parent) has that affliction (or any affliction), making fun of it isn't funny at all.

Timmy seems more mentally impaired.

EVERYBODY on that show has severe problems (especially Eric!!)

Either way, I like Butters and Tweek (esp when Butters puts on his super-villain mask and adopts that alter-ego). Also, if you haven't seen "Team America: World Police" (with the marionettes), that's HILARIOUS!

And yes, milk snakes grow. They don't get as huge as Rat Snakes or some other species, but I'm guessing it'll top out around 3 feet or so. I'll keep posting as he grows...

Thanks wpglaeser, but jimmy DOES NOT have cerebal paulsy. Trust me all I talk about at school is south park, he has a condition where he cannot walk and has to use his arms for main movement (hence him having arm bracelets). He also has terrets syndrome so thats why his speech is like that. Now Timmy was born like that and mentally impaired as you said. I know a lot of disabled kids whether its their legs, arms or both that love south park and especially jimmy, if I do a survey in school specifically for jimmy and timmy to handicap's then most will say they like them. I would love to continue this but lol its a snake forum, and hopefully I can get a milk like the one I showed in the "what kind of snake is this" forum, chrisH or someone said it was a hondo so I'm getting a hondo.
