Super Dwarf x Jampea Dwarf

alabastard Nov 10, 2005 10:29 PM

My Super Dwarf x Jampea Dwarf Retic turns three in a month, and he's just five feet. This is a snake who has never missed a weekly meal and is in perfect health, and I am reading ads with others of this cross reaching ten feet ... and while I'm not complaining - I love his size, just wondering what others have found from this cross ...

D'Artagnan is an incredible pet, absolutely puppy dog tame, once he knows he's not getting food, I can reach in and grab him.

I found a gorgeous four foot Super Dwarf female for him as well, so he'll be getting a girlfriend this month.

My super dwarf X Jampea dwarfs have been growing fast. My female is around 9 feet and 28 lbs. My male is 8 feet long and 22 lbs. Both get fed 4 lb rabbits every 7 to 10 days, and like yours they never refuse a meal! Both are very well tempered, but are very food motivated. They are great retic's and although I know they seem fairly large, considering that both of my normal males were around 50 lbs by the time they were three, they are very small in comparison.
Best regards,
Shane

Wow, they are almost double the size of mine, who is still eating rats. He is my first Retic, however, so I don't mind, and he's a great pet (when it's not feeding day
