mealworm life stages/bettles

my mealworms are turning into bettles...can my WD eat the bettles ?

Yes, but they are more nutritious as larvae, the beetles have hard chitonous shells that aren't easily digested. In large quantities impactions can occur, so don't over do it.

i feed mine the beetles, they have been fine. i tend to keep them though so they will breed me more mealies. a pot with holes in is good with some flaked oat and a piece of cork bark (that is where they like to lay their eggs)

they go from mealies to funny larvae thingys that wiggle if you touch them, then to beetles. VERY easy to breed.
