I remember hearing that some Lubricants may cause infertility and with a upcoming Trade, I want to get the girl probed just so I can give a Vet's Verification of proper sex. She locked up for me twice last season but gave me no eggs. I don't want to send off a Infertile Female! Any opinions and experiences are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I've always used KY jelly.... never had any problems with it. I think anything that's water based would be safe.
The only problem I've had is people who don't know what I'm up to laugh when I pull a tube of KY out of my purse.. lol

Better than KY and your probe will slide in nice and easy 
It’s a very slippery, water based and it's non spermicidal.
I just wonder what some of my customers think when they see a bottle of it sitting around openly in my store.

It seems like some of you have ky fantasies or something. I don't want to be flamed so I'll leave it at that. Me? I popped my 2 snakes succesfully but I understand you cant do that for adult snakes.

on being able to pop your 2 snakes successfully. I'm sure many here use the popping method on hatchlings up to adults but sometimes adults are difficult to pop.
The original thread asked about save lubricants and my intention here was to share information on another product that does actually work better than anything I've ever used when probing is necessary. Sorry if you found this thread disturbing or offensive.
