Help with my dog?

mmmthasgood1 Nov 11, 2005 02:56 PM

I was walking my dog and noticed that he peed normal once and then another time i saw him pee a few RED drops! I have no idea what could have caused this. my dad thinks he got into some medicine somehow.

It looked like blood.

Any one know what that means?

Sounds like a possible UTI. Vet visit in order, but check out on the dog hobbyist forums.

Not that this is the arena to discuss this, but being an open discussion forum.

UTI= Urinary Tract Infection and a bladder infection would DEFINATLY be part of that.

Have dad check with vet and see if maybe feeding a different kind of food may help. Urinary issues and ear infections are often related to food allergies or sensitivities. May prevent recurring problems down the road. Glad to hear you hit the vet. Blood in any excretions is always a sign something isnt right.
