Tokays prefer more humidity than youll get with a screen cage. Glass is def better.

We had a tokay about 2 feet long loose in the back of our store. No joke we caught the thing and it was almost as big as my forearm and it was missing half its tail. Scared the [bleep] out of me when it gaped its mouth...

Tokays prefer high humidity and prefer to climb on smooth surfaces. Also its not easy to construct nice bark backwalls in an all screen tank.
IMHO the minimum requirements for a single Tokay are 65 g (MINIMUM) tall (minimim of 4 ft) glass tanks with a rainforest setup.
In more than 20 years of Tokay keeping, the biggest Tokay I ever saw was a specimen of 38 cm (almost 15"
. The biggest Tokay I have today is a 8 year old cb male of 35,5 cm (14".
I do not believe the 2 ft stories-I have heard too many exaggerations when it comes to lizard sizers that I only believe things which are well documented. And I have seen a lot of Tokays-but not such giants. It would also be strange that there are no documented cases to science of Tokays exceeding 15".
