Just wanted to see how everyone decided what to name their geckos.

Mine are

Mongo: It just sounded cool
Raptor: she reminded me of the raptors from Jurassic Park
Boo: Monsters Inc character
Popeye: My fiance named him, because I got to name Boo. We think she is a girl though.
Milo: after the cat in the movie Milo and Otis
Spaz: she is a spaz
Pumpkin: we bought him in October

When i keeped leos i named them all BOB,because i can not spell BOB wrong,or for get who is who.

I have
Booda, 15 or so year old female, reg. phase. rescued, very sick when i got her 9 years ago. came with her name

Mal, 15 or so year old male, reg phase. rescued, came with booda. He was origionally named molly, but hes not a girl, lol. I call him Mal because it means bad in spanish and he tends to bite.

Magic, approx 4 or 5 year old female, striped. bought her from the store I worked at with prize money from an art contest. Named her magic because she was in a tank with a divider at the petstore, her and one female on one side and a male on the other. She kept 'magically" ending up on the males side.

Screamer, almost 3 year old male, striped. Magic laid an egg shortly after i brought her home, and out hatched screamer a couple months later. First thing he did when i saw him for the first time was scream, and he didn't stop for about a week, everytime he saw me he screamed.

Gandy, 2 or 3 year old albino female. A customer from the petstore gave her to me because her son wasn't taking care of her. Origional name was Gandalf, but she is a female, so I changed it to Gandy.

Great names, and some great stories. Thanks for the replies.

About 1 yr old Albino Male - BLAZE bc of his red eyes

and about 1 yr old female normal - Venom bc when she was a baby she was all black and white

Leos:

Spot - named by kindergarten class because, well, he has lots of spots. Winner of 'Spottiest Pet' at annual pet fair

Jessie - from Dude Where's My Car (we had a chester - bearded dragon)

Fatties:

Valencio - because he is male and orange colored - from Valencia oranges

Hissy - because every time you try to pick the little guy up he hisses

Zipper - thought it was cute and went with his stripe

Dixie and Suwannee - named after the south and the county family is from.

Phoenix - thought it was cute

Henri - he just looks like a Henry, but with an i

Isis - she's a goddess, baby

Snickerdoodle - because she is the color of a sugar cookie with cinamon sprinkles

Drazil. I couldn't think of a name for him and one of my friends tends to be strange and type words backwards sometimes, so he typed "drazil" when asking about my gecko and it just stuck. (Drazil = Lizard backwards)

Mine is named Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky the 5th. XD hahaha Or just Ed ....
