ciddian Nov 11, 2005 09:13 PM

Hiyas all

I just thought i would start a new thread. So these are the pictures of my two Hl's i just need to know if they look alright. I am getting them ready for hibernation at the moment.

There are also photos of the tank, i know its small. I will have a upgraded enclosure ready in the spring. In there is a flowering succulent and aloe. They are on play sand as well.

please let me know what you think
thanks!

What type are they?
They look good?

I think they are both Platyrhinos but i am not 100% sure. One of them seems to have a very blunt face compaired to the other. The pinker one also has a wider base at the tail and longer spikes aling the sides...

They dont look very different from eachother right off the bat, only if you take a closer look.

Sorry about the bad photos.. Couldnt get a hold of a good camera ~_~! lol

Hi there,

They're both Desert Horned Lizards, or Phrynosoma platyrhinos,
which incidentally translates into "Toad-bodied flat-nosed". Anyway I thought you might like to know that. =) Have a good one. They look nice.

regards,
-Phil
