wow, thats a pretty goini x calif king. I normally don't like the look of a goini x cali's but that is a super nice one. What strain of lavender cali was used? Is that a red eye T- or a lavender type? Either way very nice snake. Thanks again for sharing and keeeping this place so interesting.

that they (i have a 1.1)were sold to me as a F-3 pr. from McGrath Reptiles in So.Cal, Something interesting about this 1.1 is the M has a "goini" attitude and the F has a cali attitude.
Here's a couple more "goini" crosses and these are "goini"-X-Floridana

Nice!!! One thing... how do you get your snakes (even BABIES?) to eat out of your hand??? I have to put mine in a separate container from their cage (and SOMETIMES even a deli-cup) and cover the container to get any of mine to eat. I've seen pic after pic of this and I can't believe my eyes!!!!

JETZEN Nov 12, 2005 01:08 PM

it just takes practice in knowing how much a particlar snake will go b/4 being pushed so far that it sresses out, some snakes won't co-operate but most do.

cool pic... so now we've moved to index finger feeding!!

like Rainer said, thanx for kepping things around here interesting and moving alone...

You 2 always pull something out of the hat that looks amazing. I fed my queretaro king (L.Ruthveni) and my corn snake in my hand a week or 2 ago, hope this means they trust me or something. Or maybe it means they just don't give a hoot.

JETZEN Nov 12, 2005 04:20 PM

You have snakes that are well adjusted to you and captivity. post some pics sometime.

Jaysonj Nov 12, 2005 04:55 PM

Thanks man, I'll post pic's post shed and see what you guys think when blaze aka stiffler (my corn) and snoopy (my king) eat out of my hand. Guess I must be providing them with what they need so they're comfortable and think of me as there father/brother

stinkypinky Nov 12, 2005 06:25 PM

I know, its not a king. but it loves to eat from the hand.

Female Peach Pueblan x Reverse Okeetee cornsnake, F2 75% corn.
